The certificate chain includes Root CA certificate and Intermediate/Issuing CA certificate. There are 3 certificate profiles available in Intune, and those are TRUSTED Certificate, SCEP Certificate, and PKCS certificate. That solution is called SCEP or Simple Certificate Enrolment Protocol. By integrating an on-premises Active Directory Domain Services (ADCS) Public Key Infrastructure with Microsoft Intune, we can deploy certificates to these devices via Microsoft Intune using a Device Configuration Profile.
